bean, sausage, and kale soup

after pinning this:

i thought... waaait i think i have a recipe very similar to that.  and lo and behold, i do.  so i made it.  and i successfully reduced the recipe from 6 servings to 2.  no wonky amounts like 1.3 cans of beans or 5 sausages.

white bean, sausage, and kale soup

3 spicy turkey sausages [precooked]
1 can white beans
2 T garlic
1 bunch kale
1 C broth
1 container cherry tomatoes
pepper
parmesan

lightly oil pot [or dutch oven if youre fancy] and brown sausages.  add rinsed beans and garlic and saute until fragrant.  add kale, broth, and tomatoes and boil for several minutes or until kale is wilted.  add pepper and parm to taste.  serve with bread.  impatiently defrosted homemade bread.
and um... the recipe actually calls for more broth and no tomatoes.  but i had almost-inedible toms sitting around and a distinct lack of enough broth.  poke the toms with a knife and let boil down slightly.  problem solved.
