burlesque night

living room to kitchen lights
mini globe lights and chairs all in a row
thrifted punch bowl and little cups

and what happens to a nice german girl when she comes to america?
tattoos, feather boas, and finger waves.  thats what.

and then we had to test lighting for the photobooth.  forever.

too bordello red
too yellow
frank got in a few shots
too low iso
a bit overexposed
yes?
no.
victory!

then we went outside to light sparklers for guy fawkes day
and the lighting test continued with too many accessories..

until final victory!
  • top: thrifted nightgown-chopped and stripes sewn on
  • necklace: kenneth cole
  • frilly skirt: charlotte russe
  • boa: savers
  • fascinator: made from chopped off bits of top
and so you know it wasnt just me and frank partying,
the ladies
the gents

  6. thank you mongs! the boas were a great find [cheap new stock at a thrift store] and despite some rampant shedding, held up very well through hours of dancing!
