  3. my roommate said the bread was excellent with extra cranberry applesauce [i substituted some of the oil for applesauce with surprising success] and we ate a few of the whoopie pies..but the rest are in the freezer waiting to make a car journey

  4. thanks jamie! the recipe is from bon appetit and the frosting is just the regular butter+powdered sugar+fluff filling. i couldn't find any maple extract
