the snowballs have bloomed!  eat those aphids little lady bug.  but if you bite me, i will not hesitate to smash you like i have your erstwhile brethren. 

also, the roses popped open this week!  turns out, they arent the type that the tag said, but they are gorgeous nonetheless.  i will be pruning them back significantly after theyre done blooming, but jeez.  prickly beauty abounds in my yard

of course i picked a bunch of snowballs for my kitchen which frank will likely destroy, but until then, they are quite lovely.  though small.. perhaps i picked them too soon
