sweet, spicy, and sloth?
candied ginger turned out this time and it is now resting/drying/cooling fully in the oven so i dont awake to a cat induced kitchen explosion. and yes it definitely pays to cut huge [thin] slices of ginger rather than the little coins i attempted to do before. and since i was nearly out of sugar i just dumped several pieces at a time into my sugar tupperware and shook the ever-loving crap out of it. soooo much less messy than my failed sugar-bowl-dipping technique.
finally. the laziest way to cook broccoli. ever. ever ever. forever ever.
boil water. dunk broccoli head in boiling water for 3 minutes or until brightened. cut off florets. eat. the end.
