liz's laundry

a random woman [i'm sure we've been introduced 2-3 times] at work stopped me and said "that is a very good color on you"  i thanked her and scampered off for more anti-pasto skewers.  apparently there was a dual-office-happy-hour-celebration announcing expansion of the company.  [i think they video-ed in the charlotte office] and there were snacks leftover.  but frankly i'm still a little iffy on red.  its so bright.  and red.  and bright.

and if you note the window behind me... that is 5pm.  not late night.  but a freak hour-long thunderstorm rolled in and completely blackened the sky in about 5 minutes.  there was hail.  and flooding.  and thank freakin god im not in a basement apartment anymore.
