we finally gave in and went to see the lorax last night.  most of the story was true to the book and didn't ruin many cherished childhood memories.  but the songs were annoying as hell.  not my point here.  at the gym i was perusing a people magazine whilst on the elliptical.

you know what?  fuck you people magazine.  the point of the story is dont be a greedy consumerist environment raping asshole.  not that anti-capitalist beliefs will turn your children into socialist tree hugging lemmings.

not that its a bad thing.  i like trees.  but im a pinko commie liberal that thinks we should leave some of nature/water/clean air for future generations.  i must hate america.

its been weirdly warm for winter in maine.  first pic was to an interview at staffing agency #2.  note - no tights/leggings/down coat.  holy crap.  also until last thursday the ground was dry and i determined it to be an appropriate time to bust out the heels again!  and i have the same pair of kenneth cole pumps in 4 colors.  ridic i know.  im ok with it.  they are comfy as hell and i didnt pay anywhere close to full price for any of them.

that is how many pageviews ive had since starting this little blog on jan 15, 2009.  considering i figured my sister, my best friend, and my mom would read this... that is a significantly higher number.  holy crap.  thanks to everyone who comments [they make me happy] and thanks to lurkers.  i know youre there.  you just dont know i know.  well now you do.  damnit.

recook and resew

a month or so ago i got takeout indian.  i was craving spicy meat and veggies... but the chicken korma i got was disappointing bland.  since i was going out of town and too cheap to throw it away, i chucked it in the freezer without a second thought.  welp monday i was too lazy to cook so i defrosted the korma and fixed it. 

nothing some toasted almonds, green beans, and a lot of sriracha couldnt fix!
