garden #15

more photographic bragging of my previously unknown gardening skills. ie... new fill with compost mixed in, miracle gro, and 2 weeks of thunderstorms

zucchinis in the sun

baby tomato

baby black krims

my first harvest! banana pepper ans 2 purple beans

mostly unrelated closeups

flowers in the other part of the garden [have not done anything for this side of the garden]

snap dragons flourishing all on their own

petunia

random mulberry tree in our yard that i thought was a giant weed

pine shrub with poisonous fruit

mr snail

le escargot

100x cooler [hotter] than that stupid sean paul song

ed hardy. bahhh.

spotted at outback steakhouse: young couple, sweet adorable well-behaved baby, and...

DUN DUNNNNN

ed hardy changing bag.

i dont care how cute, well educated, polite, nice, rich, _____ [fill in the blank nicely] this couple was. either they bought an ed hardy bag specifically to use as a baby bag, in which case they have way too much money and want to flaunt their lack of good taste. OR. the woman had an extra ed hardy bag lying around out of her collection and decided she could afford to get baby barf on this one and have it smell forever of baby powder. OR. someone gifted it to them at a baby shower and they really need to find friends with better fashion sense and ideologies.

garden edition #14

according to the "labels" category, this will be my 14th post about the garden. as usual, the basil and tomatoes are doing very well. i dont actually have any fruit... but the tomatoes are flowering like its their job. cos it is. ish. and the zucchini plants [its either 3 or 6 of them. theyre all kind of smushed together in an amorphous blob] will soon be sprouting forth an overabundance of zucchinis.

basil looking healthy, and rosemary looking much better once i repotted the thyme it was being overgrown by

the sad sad state of my lavender

future tomatoes of america

since taking this pic we have had another sunny day. so now there are 10 zucchini blossoms. they may have to be plucked, stuffed with cheese, and deep fried...

these two beans have since turned purple and there are two neighboring yellow beans

the left bed

the right bed [parsley is trying to survive the transplant]

theres a third pepper hiding in there somewhere

heres what a pepper sees all day...

the yard also seems to be growing an overabundance of helicopters. not the buzzy medivac kind. the kind that get stuck in your hair, seed themselves in your garden, and get tracked into the house on long pantlegs. boo.

xtrme chandelier golf

not as horribly destructive as it sounds. except for your corneas being slowly seared away. but while bathroom-sconce-shopping..we happened upon chandeliers. when are they appropriate? read on:

in your neo-gothic [as in black clothes-eyeliner wearing goth not the visigoths of ancient europe] mansion built by your hard working parents' dirty capitalistic money that you will soon squander on screechy concerts and leather.

in a high-class brothel

in a light-refraction physics class with plenty of lasers and..appropriate eye protection

in ....never. do not ever buy this lamp. i will hunt you down and unmercifully beat you with it. and thats a promise.
